Historian Vincent Nascimento Júnior, author of the phrase "Paranista" (not Romário Martins, as is proclaimed) used to tell his contemporaries unusual episode in Paranaguá, in 1860, to prove that the world is the clever.
Down there, as Inspector of Customs, a gentleman Figueiredo, bratty and madman, assuming that stepping conquered land, first began mistreating customs officers, their subordinates unfairly.

He even require employees when called to the office, which is in front perfilassem martially bent in reverence and retreating until they disappeared behind the curtain.
The ridiculous this requirement sparked satirical vein of parnanguaras, who began to criticize him.
This, in retaliation, maltrarava traders and brokers who went to Customs.
As there was no press, lampoon circulated in the verses of evil and unholy contempt and disregard to their presence in the city.

The doorman barred him entry.

And this squabble resulted in the biggest scandal.
Families present were alarmed, afraid of a fight.
The President of Theatrical Society came forward and stated flatly that there were only entered those invited.
Who would not call it portasse resign and go to sleep in peace.
Widened the conflict because Figueiredo screamed the whole lung, shouting obscenities up. The president was already thinking of suspending the session and close the theater, when a lad, the artists who were to represent said that would refuse to play the role if it was not allowed to enter the Inspector.
It was therefore poured the broth. There was no alternative.
Allow entry or evacuate the theater, filled with select audience.
For the sake of order, the president gave the imposition of the actor.
Figueiredo came, gloriously. The young artist who pleaded, long, steady job, got the reward.
A week later he was appointed in Customs ...
