Two historic stories
Flora Muñoz Rocha

Are two stories that I can focus accurately, because both had the referee President of Paraná Affonso Camargo (then governor said the president).
The first story is the fight between Paraná and Santa Catarina.
Fought ugly anyway.
That was many years ago.
For more than century-when the political emancipation of Paraná that dismembering of São Paulo.
Where Santa Catarina disagreed with the dividing line which set limits on the south, between the two states.
The Santa Catarina wanted because they wanted to expand their territory with 47,000 km square area that we had been assigned.
Resulting guerrillas called "Question of Limits", which lasted over the years
- 1853-1916. Each wanting to win at the base of the shooting.
People died.
A horror.
They moved the chairs and nothing.
Until Santa Catarina started winning points, winning three court rulings. And he had to trump the federal government's Foreign Minister, the Santa Catarina Lauro Muller.
At that time, he was president of Paraná Affonso Camargo, who besides political chief was shrewd lawyer and realized the imminence of total loss if the Paraná not propose an immediate agreement.
Made the hit, the two presidents of the United conflicting signed on October 20, 1916, before the President Wenceslao Braz, the agreement that put an end to quarrels and Paraná saved for the area where you are located in 30 municipalities today: Porto Victoria Baran, Bituruna, Palmas, Mangueirinha Clevelândia Chopin-zinho, Coronel Vivida, Pato Branco, Mariópolis, Vitorino, Itapejara, St. John, St. George, Two Neighbors, Verê, Francisco Beltran, Renaissance, Quince, Eneas Marques, Salto do Lontra, Salgado Filho, Santa Isabel, Royalty, Ampere, Ipanema Plateau Pearl West, San Antonio, Shed.
The second story is how did Londrina.
At this same time Affonso Camargo President, he could not accept the fertile lands of the northern state remain stranded due to lack of roads that unite the capital and the port.
Hence it did contract with a British company that undertook to build a railroad in exchange area there at the end of the line. In this area, years later, the British founded the city of Londrina.
