The government gives you the rank of colonel, and in addition to the Indians, proceeds to attack the miners underground that sparkled in Rio Tibagy.
The struggles against Indians continue but the safety of Finance Fortaleza attracts farmers who settle in the region.
Jose Felix was reputed to be the richest men in the Province of São Paulo, Paraná that belonged. And also to be greedy and very cruel.
When the French savant Auguste de Saint-Hilaire goes through Fazenda Fortaleza in 1820, says that the provisions were sealed with seven seals, and Jose Felix for being hated by his slaves, his only grandson of eight years was the shaving. Had no confidence to deliver razor in hand no one else.

In ambush, Jose Felix gets seriously injured, but manages to settle with two bandits.
As everyone knew it was the woman who had him killed Jose Felix, she was arrested in jail in Castro, a city that, according to Saint-Hilaire, was then inhabited by three or four traders, prostitutes and some artisans.
With your money, or power, Jose Felix can release the woman, which she accepts.
Brings her back to the farm Fortaleza and locks it in the bedroom, so it sends grill windows and the only door.
Slaves pass the food through the bars.
Nobody entered the cell.
Nobody? Every night, Jose Felix took the key that brought tied around his neck, opened the cell and went to sleep with her in her marriage bed to fulfill the marital obligations usual.
How were the nights of the couple's love, God only knows.
Or,
Nelson Rodrigues, who also knew a little something of life as it is.
Perhaps, like the characters of Nelson Rodrigues, the little woman liked to catch.
But anyway it seems that not much, because one day, or a beautiful night she can pour down the throats of Jose Felix, a delicious glass of French wine seasoned with these poisons that only the Indians knew the region prepare.
But anyway, despite dying with dose, Jose Felix, even suspicious as it was, should be used and would like to receive from the hands of the woman a glass of French wine before lie on the marriage bed for one more night of love, or perhaps hatred.
That, even if only the good Lord knows.
