Stories of Parana - Londrina and traces

Stories of Parana - Londrina and traces

Londrina and traces
Olympio Luiz Westphalen

One night in the early days of the foundation of Londrina, early 30s, in the small village not sleep, though heavily silent and deserted.
In fact - according to the reports of Eugene Victor Larinoff, White Russian who was an employee of the company lands North of Paraná
- In reality, we said, the apparent peace poorly concealed tension that men and women lived that moment in most homes.
There are days when there was a rumor of a group of heavily armed gunmen, ready to invade the small town and orders to evict everyone there at any price, including the bullet if need be. At jagunçada be at the behest of a citizen who claimed ownership of lands and other adjacent Londrina. The citizen claimed to possess documents, deeds of those lands, and moreover was not much for conversation.
There was bewilderment among the English and their employees, most of them housed in House Seven, including Eugenio Larionoff because everyone knew the wonderful advocacy work performed by Antonio Moraes Barros, who assured the British group, led by Lord Lovat, the right liquid and unquestioned on lands acquired by the Government of Paraná.
But between the behest of reason and strength ... On the eve of that night confirmed the presence of gunmen on the roads of the woods near the small town of Londrina.
Employees of colorectal nizadora, in turn, also tried to reinforce security, putting men armed with face-Binas all around the house and the British administration in various strategic points on the roads of the town. The tension could be felt in the air. The clash with gunmen, were sure, was inevitable and would happen that night.
But he spent the night, dawn, night and next morning, and many others, and nothing happened. The jagunçada just vanished.
Only later it was learned pçrque the assault was not made. And a bizarre story, but true.
The individual who claimed to own the land, had appeared days before the office of Land Company, in São Paulo, displaying a seemingly genuine scripture that prove him to be the rightful owner of the entire area occupied by the Shareholders of Londrina.
Demanded the immediate withdrawal of the British and stipulated a deadline, after which would expel them by force - by the way, has sent his thugs to the region.
The Board of the Company, be judging this one claimant swindler, handed the case to a criminal lawyer.
This examined the deed presented, which seemed apparently faithful.
Then examined the log book in the office where the deed was drawn from the alleged owner, and the plot leapt easily to the eye.
And that all leaves of the record book had the same little hole opened by a drill, or traces, except in a vertical line
- Of course! Sheet containing the transcription of that writing.
How bookworms never make bends in their ways, the lawyer easily deduced that the authentic foil was removed and another logically false, cleverly inserted in its place.
Was so modest bookworm saved Londrina, allowing to continue on your way, taking in the reality of our times.
At least, that's how pioneers like Victor Larionoff tell this story.
