Success has a name
José Roberto da Silva

The black boy did not stand the laughter of classmates that first day of class. Not answered presence.
Shot out the door as soon as the schoolteacher round glasses gave his first name. Only stopped at the door of the humble farm rich.
Because his parents had registered with that label he wanted to know, but never asked. The "old" was not much conversation and Metia only fear in his eyes.
The mockery of the companions were decreasing as
the boy was going earning respect without retort arm. Not needed.
During recess, which usually only had a piece of sugar cane to chew and suck the juice sweetened, began to impose the talent that dominated the small plastic colored ball played in "cracks".
Never finished elementary school. The father needed his help on the farm.
Before leaving the school, however, had already won fame and stocky body good ball.
Nobody took most fun of his first name.
Was rather tired of hearing advice to pursue a career playing football.
But that weird name? The explanation came over the radio cell of a neighbor.
Cigarette advertising. Only then learned of vice and passion of the father for that brand. Could do nothing.
Was playing life, calejando hands on handles and rich red earth of Captain Leonidas Marques and seeing your star shine ball retriever in farms.
Teenager, gained muscle and lost more teeth carelessly and because candy and sugar cane. That played a amateur team and name enjoyed nobody remembered.
Now it was Captain, a steering wheel that Metia fear in opponents by determining that came in and played the type size umbrella rou-pa.
There was to be tough, however, that a scout Rattlesnake was to convince his father to let him try his luck in the professional team. The boy who at 17 was already wearing dentures had talent.
Spent some years showing it on the green carpet of the Olympic stadium and was hired by the Portuguese Sports, which today holds absolute position.
Captain earned money, might even have changed the name.
But also out of respect for parents, kept it with great pride.
Even more so, now more than ever, Oliuae is a success.
